Kids+Students
We want to connect our families, our church and Christ in a “three stranded rope”. Three strands are not easily snapped. What does this look like: 1. Meet Christ 2. Grow in Christ 3. Serve for Christ. We want you to help this happen. We have some amazing opportunites for you in several age groups. You choose what is best for you and we’ll work with you to get involved. All of our teams have great leaders so you’ll always be supported and connected to the church in an exciting ministry.
INFANTS AND TODDLERS (NEWBORN TO AGE 2)
Our first opportunity with children is to show them the love of God in our Nursery. Our nursery is now equipped with a nursing mother’s area, as well as a toddler section. We need loving volunteers to connect with our youngest children and their parents at this vital stage of family life.
Commitment Level: 1 Time Per Month
Time: 10:15am – 12:30pm (the volunteer stays until the parents have picked up their kids after the service)
PRE-SCHOOL (AGES 2 TO 3)
Great opportunity to connect with the age of wonder. Kids at this age are amazed by even the smallest thing; let’s get them amazed with God. This age group is structured with a mini service time that meets their needs. We have music, stories, activities, play and snacks. Make a difference for Christ in the lives of wonderful children.
Commitment Level: 2 Times Per Month
Time: 10:15am – 12:30pm (the volunteer stays until the parents have picked up their kids after the service)
STUDENTS (JK TO GRADE 8 )
It’s a kid’s worship service & life group time every Sunday morning. We have an exciting schedule that allows us to help parents grow kids for Christ. There are opportunities for a worship leader/team, a MC/large group teacher and age specific JK/SK; Gr. 1-3; Gr. 4-5; Gr. 6-8 (YOU THINK) life group leaders. We want YOUTHINK (Gr. 9-12) and adult volunteers to work together to serve for Christ with our students.
Commitment Level: Be part of a team for 1 full module (4-5 consecutive weeks). Looking for 3 teams of 6
Time: 10:15am – 12:30pm (the volunteers stay until the parents have picked up their kids after the service)
YOUTHINK
God wants to make a permanent mark on the lives of young people. We have a passion to see our youth connect with, grow in and serve through Christ. This is your chance to let your hair down, have fun and impact the lives of teens in our city and region. There are lots of ways you can be involved, just ask.
GRADES 6-8
The pre teen years are a time of great transition in a young person’s life. YouthInk (6-8) meets Sunday Morning and will have outreach focused events every couple of months.
Commitment Level: Sunday Morning (with Kidspark) or help facilitate big events (transportation, food, worship and game leading, hanging out)
Time: 10:15am – 12:30pm Sundays or the 4th Saturday of every month
GRADES 9-12
YouthInk (9-12) is designed to give teens the chance to connect with Christ, grow deeper in their faith and serve Christ both in the Church and in the world. Lifegroups meet the 1st, 2nd and 4th Friday of the month and need adults who have a solid faith in Christ, and a love for young people. YouthInk (9-12) will also have big events on the 3rd Friday of the month, and opportunities to partner in service in both the Church and local community when there is a 5th Friday.
Commitment Level: Lifegroup leaders every 3 Times Per Month. Event leaders (3-4 hours every month plus prep time)
Time: Lifegroups 2 hours 3 Times Per Month plus prep time. Events to be determined
